I like to write reviews. I like sharing the cool and fun products and businesses that I find. Today is absolutely one of those days!
Not long ago I ended my series of Stitch Fix reviews (you can see my farewell here) because I became dissatisfied with the product. I set out on a search for a monthly subscription box to take it’s place, preferably a foodie or crafty one. I hunted and searched and read all sorts of reviews before settling on the Crafty Creatives #PaperHaul based out of the UK.
It was perfect. It was within my budget even with the international shipping charge (£10 plus shipping). It had the potential to contain washi and stickers and cards. It was NEW.
At the time I discovered Crafty Creatives, #PaperHaul had just been launched so I ordered mine ASAP. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Have I mentioned that I am not terribly patient. The internet has spoiled me and I wanted instant gratification. LOL
Finally I got my shipping notice. I figured that it would be a good week + before I got my package, but it only took a few days! Squeeeee!
A Box of Goodies
First up, small notecards with envelopes. Great quality and so adorable. I need to figure out who to send these to…I’m thinking my dad 😉
Next were some adorable gift tags. I love the colors and hairstyles. The whole box really has a super fun 60s-70s feel to it.
WASHI!! Need I say more? Okay, I will. This picture does this washi no justice. It is the perfect shade of orange and I cannot wait to use it in my planner…probably in March because it is very ginger!
Next was a few bigger stickers. I love that these have speech bubbles! I think they will be great to use for some gifts that I want to send to some animal lovers I know!
How beautiful is this ginger princess card? I can’t think of any little girls to send this to, but it will make a great birthday card. Or maybe I will frame it and hang it up in my new office! YES! Actually, I think I will frame the next card too.
Last up are two double sided crafting papers. All four sides are different and I hate to part with any of them. I saw that someone else used these to make their own envelopes which I might have to try!
So there is a quick review of my first #PaperHaul. I am already so excited for my next box of goodies! This might sound dumb, but I think the funnest part of this box for me is that it is international. I always tend to shop very American by going to Target, Michael’s, and some local crafting stores, but this time I knew that it would be nothing I had seen before. All of the cards are made specifically for #PaperHaul and I love supporting that type of business.
But Wait, There’s More!
They support charity! With every #PaperHaul that is bought they make a monetary donation to Post Pals. This is an amazing organization that arranges for mail to be sent to sick children to brighten their day. This might be a great thing for my new found love of stamping greeting cards. Please check them out and, if you can, send a card…and maybe some stickers. What kid doesn’t like stickers?
I cannot wait for my next box! This is actually SO MUCH BETTER than my Stitch Fix!
What do you think? Is this something you could see yourself getting, or do you have another crafty box you love?
