Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Baked Ravioli

Sometimes the urge to bake, but I don’t have all of the ingredients for any of the usual suspects (cookies, brownies, etc), so I get creative. This week I found some wonton wrappers, peanut butter, and chocolate chips and decided to try and make something of it. I mean, why not?

So, I preheated the oven to 375 degrees and got to work.

I started by adding a dab (roughly a teaspoon) of peanut butter in the middle of each wonton wrapper.

Then I added a few (okay, fine, 3) chocolate chips to each wonton.

Once all of the wontons are sealed I spread them out on my parchment paper lined baking sheets and popped them in the oven for 7ish minutes. At 7 I flipped them and left them in the oven another 3 minutes before removing to cool.

While I was waiting I whipped up a quick little glaze of water (a splash) and powdered sugar (between 1/2 cup and 1 cup). I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it was the perfect way to end these “cookies” as my kids were calling them.

These were amazing! The filling was ooey gooey and the outside was perfectly crunchy…and they satisfied my craving to bake! I love when my creative projects turn into simple and delicious snacks that I will be adding to my regular treats!

Do you ever get cravings to cook something, but don’t have all of the pieces? How do you get creative with your cooking?

One can never go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate! I have done these with bananas and chocolate but they were folded like wontons…I love the crossover. I will definitely try these soon.

We made banana and Nutella a few times, and ate them for breakfast because banana is a fruit! That is totally how breakfast works
